RE: House Battery Drain

Sounds like it could be bad batteries. We had this problem several years ago on our new coach. After going back and forth with the service people, trying to isolate the problem, we gave up and bought new batteries. We learned later that the each battery had a dead cell.
Yes, I know they are expensive, but we decided life is too short and we were tired of worrying about the problem. Good luck.

RE: Aussie travel advice: Seattle-Nashville-Colorado

Try Glacier National Park in western Montana. It should be close to your route either going or coming. Best BBQ: hard to beat Dreamland in Huntsville, AL. Good luck on your trip. I'm too lazy to drive that much.

RE: Tiffin vs. Winnebago?

We own a 2004 Vectra. We did look at Tiffin, but thought the finish work wasn't as good. We've been to Forest City several times for service, and even though we were out of warranty, they've never charged us a dime.
That being said, Tiffin would be a lot closer for service, since we're from the south.
We love the basement air. In Phoenix once when temps were 114+, and our air worked great.
